Honky Tonk Myself to Death : ウィキペディア英語版 | Honky Tonk Myself to Death
"Honky Tonk Myself to Death" is a song by American country artist George Jones. It was composed by Max D. Barnes. It was released as the third and final single from his 1991 LP ''And Along Came Jones'' and peaked at #60 on the ''Billboard'' country survey. Although the up-tempo number had a contemporary sound, Jones felt his age was keeping him off radio playlists, which angered him. "Many stations that won't play veteran acts wouldn't even be on the air if it weren't for interest generated by the older artists in their staions a few years ago," he wrote in his 1995 autobiography ''I Lived to Tell It All''. "I worry about the future of a country music that has no respect for its history." ==Chart performance==
